1. Core standards
- Use PEARL App respectfully and lawfully.
- Do not harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, deceive, spam, or abuse other people or the platform.
- Do not publish illegal, harmful, misleading, hateful, sexually exploitative, infringing, privacy-invasive, unsafe, or fraudulent content.
- Do not manipulate reviews, reports, visibility, rankings, paid promotion, or engagement.
2. Listing-owner responsibilities
- Publish accurate identity, service, schedule, price, contact, credential, license, and availability information.
- Keep claims truthful, current, and verifiable.
- Respect consumer rights, professional rules, licensing duties, tax duties, data protection, and sector-specific rules.
- Do not use PEARL App to bypass moderation, payment, safety, ranking, reporting, or trust controls.
3. Content quality
These rules apply to listings, profiles, services, reviews, comments, questions, articles, posts, gallery images, and similar public or account-based content.
- Content should be accurate, relevant, respectful, and understandable.
- Reviews and ratings must reflect genuine experiences and must not be manipulated.
- Images, logos, text, and other material must not infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Externally generated or manipulated content must not be used to fabricate credentials, identity, reviews, professional advice, or service results.
4. Reports and illegal-content notices
Users can report policy concerns, suspicious behavior, low-quality content, or potentially illegal content through available report controls.
A general report is not always a legally complete DSA illegal-content notice. A DSA-style illegal-content notice may require the exact electronic location, legal or factual reason, and contact/statement details where required.
- Report categories align with current app reasons such as illegal or harmful content, sexual or explicit content, harassment or hate, misinformation, spam or low quality, intellectual property, privacy violation, business integrity, health or safety, platform abuse, inappropriate content, and other concerns.
5. Moderation and appeals
- PEARL may leave content up, restrict, demote, remove, suspend, deny, or terminate content, listings, or accounts where rules, safety, legal duties, or platform integrity require action.
- Moderation should be proportionate, auditable, and explained where required and safe.
- Appeal or complaint routes may be available where operationally implemented or legally required.
- Authority orders, DSA notice/action handling, statements of reasons, and out-of-court dispute concepts remain subject to the applicable legal and operational workflow.
6. Current platform limits
- PEARL App currently has no user-facing AI systems, AI avatars, generated-content tools, automated support, or automated-decision functionality.
- These Guidelines are public draft guidance and remain pending lawyer review.
